Leaving on a Jet Plane

Hey guys,

I am leaving for France today at about 7pm. After a long lay over in Paris, we are finally heading to bamako. The training here has been pretty intense but pretty standard, the usual risk managment stuff that could be expected before going overseas. Everyone here seems to be really nice and really really dedicated to Peace Corps. The weather is extremely muggy, not so much hot. You walk out the door and immediately you are sticky. I had my first real philly cheese steak the other day and I must say it definitely met my expectations. I got to hang out with my dad's cousin and her husband while here as well which was a blast. Anyway everyone is waiting for the computer so i won't keep them, talk to you all later and I look foward to hearing from you via wemail or comments.

Love,
Dan
